EMINENCE, KENTUCKY DECEMBER 18, 2002
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
The City Council of the City of Eminence, Kentucky met in a special called session on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall with Mayor Tom Shroyer and the following members present: Leeroy Winburn, Dwayne Roberts, Doug Bates, and Kelley Mathis. Absent were Members Laura Whitney and Fred Downey. Also in attendance were Police Chief Mount Hadden, City Attorney William Brammell, Mary Jane Yates, Howard Roberts, Rick Simmons, Doug Kalbfleisch, and Paul Combs.
The purpose of the special meeting being called was to discuss and adopt a resolution on the Renaissance project accepting $200,000 in federal transportation enhancement funds and to discuss and hold the second reading of an ordinance adopting revised employment policies and procedures, compensation and classification plan.
Mayor Shroyer called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Subject: Renaissance Project - Attorney Brammell read a resolution accepting the $200,000.00 federal transportation enhancement funds. Motion made by Member Bates and seconded by Member Mathis to adopt the resolution as read. All members present voted Yea.
Subject: Employment Policies and Procedures, Compensation and Classification Plan - Discussion held concerning the proposed revised employment policies and procedures, compensation and classification plan. Consensus of council was that they were not prepared to vote on these policy changes and ordinance. Balance of meeting time spent discussing draft.
With no further business to be discussed, motion made by Member Bates and seconded by Member Mathis to adjourn. All members present voted Yea. Meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
